What we set out to do
The five fundamental objectives that guide the Club’s activity.
Research and best practices
We research and analyze methodologies to manage, control and monitor the risks of economic activity, and we promote before regulatory authorities the adoption of international best practices, with an active role in their development and implementation.
Discussion forum
We are a meeting point for members to discuss systems, regulations, methodologies and tools for managing, controlling, analyzing and measuring risk.
Risk culture
We spread risk culture through conferences, congresses, courses, seminars, webinars, publications and specialized certifications.
Digital transformation
We drive the digital transformation of risk management and maintain platforms for creating content among members and sharing it.
Network of contacts
We maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, professional associations and academic institutions, in the country and abroad, to exchange experience and knowledge on financial risk management.
How we work
Three pillars support the Club’s activity.
Working committees
Ten committees of industry professionals, by type of risk and support area, that harmonize concepts and best practices, prepare position papers and follow regulatory initiatives.
- Credit and counterparty risk
- Market and liquidity risk
- Operational, strategic and emerging risks
- Anti-money laundering (AML/CFT)
- ESG Risks
- Technology risk and cybersecurity
- Regulations, legislation and corporate governance
- Business continuity and operational resilience
- Audit
- Innovation
Training
We train professionals to manage risk ethically and under the best international practices. Our “Global Risk Manager” program grants dual accreditation: European, from the CGRE, and Latin American, endorsed by ASBA, FELABAN and the CGR. We deliver it with Némesis, alongside specialized courses.
Research
Studies on risk and related disciplines that serve as input to members’ decisions in their organizations and to the promotion of new regulations and best practices.
