Marcela Villegas, current Vice President of Risk and Compliance at Banco de Bogot\u00e1, is an outstanding leader in the financial sector with more than 20 years of experience in risk management, strategic consulting and banking. A professional in Finance, Government and International Relations from the Universidad Externado de Colombia, with a Master\u2019s in Banking and Finance from the AFI Escuela de Madrid and a senior management program in Leadership and Global Business Management from the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated with honors.<\/p>\n
Throughout her career, she has held key positions at institutions such as the Banco de la Rep\u00fablica, Grupo Aval and Fiduciaria Bogot\u00e1, among others. In her current role, she leads the risk management and compliance strategy, strengthening soundness and sustainability in a dynamic financial environment. She is also a strong advocate for the inclusion of women in banking, driving initiatives that promote gender equity in the financial sector. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
